Do you wish your talent development efforts had more of an impact on your organization? As a professional in the talent development field, your role likely requires getting other people to change the way they work – their processes, behaviors, capabilities, attitudes and, ultimately, their results. Your ability to design and influence change is critical in today’s workplace.

This hands-on full day workshop will equip you with the fundamental tools and skills to facilitate the adoption of change in your organization. You’ll learn change management principles while applying them to your own project, and will leave with practical steps you can take to make meaningful progress on your initiatives.

You will benefit from attending this workshop if you:

  • are planning a project, and want to figure out how to get people to adopt the new way of doing things, or are in the middle of a project that isn't going as well as you hoped
  • are a human resources, learning and development, or other professional who recognizes that people will make or break your ability to get things done
  • want to build the change capability of your organization and seek practical tools.

Participant Learning and Deliverables (what will participants leave with when you’ve completed the workshop):

By completing the Essential Tools to Design and Influence Change at Work workshop, you will:

  • understand how change works at an individual and organizational level
  • learn a straightforward model to organize change management activities
  • be able to clarify what must change in order to achieve the desired results
  • learn how to uncover and reduce resistance
  • identify how to gain leadership support and engage stakeholders
  • build your personal influence.
