We are continuing our dialogue in this Global Talent Series Breakfast with Paul Terlemezian, talking about the future of workplace learning. Come learn about innovative strategies, learning technologies, and futurist ideas about talent in your organization.

This is an exclusive event aimed at high level executives in business around Atlanta.

In the recent past we have experienced dramatic change in the industries related tomagazines, books, videos, newspapers, communications and music. Is it possible that similar dramatic changes are ahead for the learning industry? What if we knew what “tomorrow” was going to look like regarding learning? Would it change our plans regarding how our children were educated from Pre-K to 12? Would it change our expectations of a university education? How would learning in the workplace be different?

Peter Drucker coined the term “knowledge worker” and asserted that we would move from an industrial era to a time where “knowledge would be our currency?” Has this occurred? Perhaps it has – and has ended. Perhaps we are in the next era (the predictive era or the results era)– if only we knew for sure – if only we knew what tomorrow was going to bring. This presentation will describe thinking models designed to help us “Learn from Tomorrow” and then use that knowledge to create a better today.

Paul is the founder of Georgia LEARNS and president of iFive Alliances here in Atlanta.

Additionally, he chairs the board of TAG Learning Society and previously sat on the board for the local ATD chapter. He has over 20 years of alliances and direct selling experience in the high technology and training industry. He worked with Digital Equipment Corporation, IBM (Catapult Division), Sterling Software (KnowledgeWare), Achievement Plus, and Sylvan Learning companies that were focused on eLearning. Paul built, implemented and managed strategic alliances for training, consulting and technology companies. And he focused on innovative revenue producing alliances related to classroom training, e-learning and social learning.
