Program

Many successful learning organizations face a bewildering problem; Informal learning comprises a critical component of organizational learning, but most organizations don’t know how measure its impact.  During this meeting, KnowledgeAdvisors will lead a conversation with Equifax's Global Learning & Development Leader, Alan Brewer about how they are approaching informal learning and its impact. Attendees will gain insights into the following questions during the interview:

  • What is informal learning?  How is it defined?
  • What are the critical measures to consider?
  • What is scrap learning (whether it occurs after formal or informal learning it is still scrap) and how can manager support/extend the effectiveness of formal learning?
  • When should informal learning be measured?

Additionally, attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn what other members are doing with informal learning in their organization.
