There has been a growing push toward creating individualized instruction using technology-based systems. The idea is each learner has different learning requirements so we should deploy systems that diagnose what a specific learner needs and provide them with customized instruction. While the concept sounds great in theory, up until recently, the idea has not been implemented universally. Surprisingly, gamification—the use of game dynamics and game mechanics to engage and motivate learners—has become the tool to provide that customized, adaptive learning.

Discover in this webinar how gamification, using triggers and alerts, can be used to provide customized, learner specific instruction in an engaging and thoughtful manner. In the webinar, we will discuss how companies are leveraging gamification to develop adaptive learning systems providing personalized instruction for each employee.

This event will be led by Dr. Karl Kapp, an author and Professor of Instructional Technology and the Director of the Institute for Interactive Technologies at Bloomsburg University. His courses on LinkedIn include The Gamification of Learning and How to Increase Learner Engagement.

This event is sponsor by GamEffective, a leader in technologies supporting adaptive learning and gamification.
