Whether you are a Salesperson, L&D Leader, Entrepreneur or Teacher this workshop offers a sneak peek into the basics of Applied Improv and how it can be used to teach critical communication and team development skills.

In this program, participants will explore the following themes through engaging, interactive and fun exercises:

  • Active Listening
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
  • Executive Presence and Confidence
  • Taking Risk and Failure
  • Getting Comfortable with the Uncomfortable

There has never been a more critical time to practice what is commonly referred to as “soft skills” in business today. We like to refer to them as human skills-any skill someone uses when interacting with another human. Our tech driven work climate has made communicating face to face almost a lost art and the need for critical human skills ranks high on desirable skills any professional should have today. Soft skills are what differentiate humans from robots. This session will equip participants with tools and techniques to refine and develop soft skills like adaptability, critical thinking and empathy through live practice applying them to real situations.

Our Sessions are designed to equip participants with new skills, techniques and mindsets.

  • Using Empathy and Authenticity to promote Trust- An environment where people trust is one that handles change with ease and encourages innovation.
  • Navigating Change- Embracing change and diversity and learning to embrace the uncomfortable and unknown.
  • Risk Taking-Great companies know that innovation requires risks, people and teams need to feel safe when sticking their necks out there, creating Psychological Safety, where people feel safe contributing ideas.
  • Trust and Empowerment-True collaboration means people abandon their own agendas for the greater good of the company.
  • Interpersonal “soft skills” rank highest is critical skills to have in 2019 and creating a time and space to practice can be the hardest part.
  • Teaming and Psychological Safety-Discover how to implement the newest trends in learning and apply them to your environments.
  • Adaptability and Resilience-Learn how to tone the muscles that make pivoting in the moment seamless and easier to access in the moments you cannot prepare for.
