ASTD-Atlanta and SHRM-Atlanta are joining forces to discuss differing perspectives and uses of the 360 assessment. The 360 assessment can be used in different ways, making it an interesting topic for both HR and OD professionals. Some organizations use 360 feedback to identify leadership gaps and develop high potentials, while others may use the assessment to evaluate performance and address poor performers.  Should the panorama of perceptions provided by a 360 assessment be used for development only or should it be used for administrative decision- making (pay and promotion)?

Lots of organizations have used the 360 assessment but does it work? What role does organizational climate and culture play, or an organization’s readiness to change and grow? Movement between the HR disciplines develops collaboration and knowledge sharing, yielding more opportunities to impact organizational performance. We are excited to offer this joint meeting of SHRM-Atlanta and ASTD. Come hear what our panel of HR and Training/OD experts has to say about the 360… from EVERY angle.
